Yes, I must say that soups are great. In fact, my meal isn’t complete without it. As much as I want to give myself a soup every single meal, I need to watch my diet. I mean, creamy soups are very tempting, not to mention, fattening. Oh, this is such a dilemma.
Are you facing the same problem that I have? Well, you don’t have to fret. I just discovered 3 of the best things in the world of soup. I’ll provide you with 3 soup recipes that are healthy. And yes, these will taste great.

1. 1. Healthy Soups: Calming Chicken, Pesto and Spinach Soup.
What you need:
- Basil Leaves
- Carrot
- Chicken Breast
- Chicken Broth
- Extra virgin Oil
- Garlic
- Great Northern Beans
- Ground Pepper
- Marjoram
- Parmesan Cheese
- Spinach
Procedure: First, you must heat the oil in a saucepan. You may now add the chicken and carrots. Wait until the chicken gets brown. Now is the perfect time to add the garlic. Stir those in broth and marjoram.
Transfer the chicken pieces to a board so it will cool down. It’s about time that you put the beans and the spinach to the pot.
Get your handy food processor and throw the parmesan, oil and basil. Wait until it is in its paste form.
Lastly, you may now cut the chicken into small pieces. Include the chicken and pesto into the pot. Add a little bit of pepper for a fantastic taste.

- All – purpose Flour
- Butter
- Chicken Broth
- Chopped Tomatoes
- Cloves
- Onion
- Salt
- Sugar
Procedure: Combine the cloves, chicken broth, onion and tomatoes into a stockpot. Set it to a medium heat. Wait for it to boil. Now, we can use our food mill. Run the mixture into a bowl.
Remember our empty stockpot? You can now melt some butter there. Include the flour to make a great roux. Stir until the roux is brown. Put the tomato mixture. Add some salt and pepper according to your taste.
Tomatoes are known to have very few calories. Should you want to decrease your chances of getting cancer, it is a must that you eat tomato or meals that include tomato.

What you need:
- Carrots
- Chicken Stock
- Coconut milk (without dairy)
- Coriander
- Cumin
- Curry Paste
- Ginger
- Lemon Juice

- Vegetable oil
Procedure: Heat oil into a pot. Once done, add the onions and wait for it to soften. You may now toss the sweet potato and carrots and wait for 5 minutes. After that, we may now add the cumin and ginger.
Prepare the chicken stock and coconut milk and wait for it to boil. Cover the pot and wait for the vegetables to cook.
Use your blender or your food processor. Get that perfect mixture and add pepper and coriander and lemon juice.
Sweet potatoes are a good source of Vitamin C. This is also good for our skin. If you want to have that supple skin, you should munch some sweet potatoes.
